Hello all, I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live on Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley...                                                                                 Blacky, a 4-year-old black cloud was playing outside his little home. He was making cloudy balls on the ground made of black clouds and throwing them up. Smiling when he saw them burst into thin air. Suddenly, his eyes widened by a flash coming from a distance. He looked at the direction of the light, mesmerized. At a far distance, on a hill of snowy white clouds, there were a lot of stairs, leading to the door from where the light was coming. He had seen that door a lot of times before, but never saw it open. It was the first time for him. He had never even heard of anyone he knew talking about it. He had always wondered where that door leads to but no one told him. He remembered asking his mother many times, ‘Mother, what that door is? And where does it open to?’ And his mother would

Hello all,                                                               I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live on Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley... A man, engineer by education and a college professor by profession, got into trouble, that arose due to Covid 19 pandemic. Students stopped going to college due to lockdown. College couldn’t afford to pay salaries to all the faculties and decided to let go of the ones who were not extremely important. He was one of them. Lack of job. Lack of opportunity to find another job in the same profession and the need to resolve the financial trouble to fulfill the basic need of his family, made him decide to choose a different profession. And he became a barber. But again, due to lockdown and the necessity of social distancing, he could not make it work and finally, losing all hopes, he committed suicide. One of my friends, sold the furniture of his house to get some money to survive through the pandemic, without

Sexual harassment and sexually active!

Hello all,                                                    I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live on Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley... When someone, who has influence, in terms of power, position, money or anything else, tries to force someone else to indulge in a sexual activity, then it is called sexual harassment! It is observed that in most cases, women are the victims of sexual harassment. There are many examples that have come into light in all these years. I think no field has been left without any case of sexual harassment. Even in educational field, where, teacher, a guru was once placed equivalent to GOD have been found accused of sexually harassing female students for good grades, or something like that. Bollywood seems like a hub of sexual harassment with the amount of stories I have heard till now. Passionate girls with high dreams fall into this trap every year. (at least that is what I have heard.) Sexual harassment is a disease,

Hello all,                                                    I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live on Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley... My father was a government employee. Working as a postman in a post office in Mumbai. One day, he died, because of long illness. Things changed after that. Won’t get into it much. When he died, Government offered a job to my mother in place of my dad. My mother offered that job to me, thinking it would make my future, and what would she do of that job in such an age? I was studying MSc Mathematics in IIT Bombay, at that time. I offered that job to my younger brother, thinking I would land one or the other job someday and this job can bring stability to my brother. So finally, after a lot of discussion, it settled that my younger brother would do that job. My question is, would my mother have favored me for that job if I wouldn’t have been her son? Or would have I favored my brother to take that job if he wouldn’t

Hello all,                                               I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live on Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley... I was laying on my bed scrolling into my phone when I saw a text in one of my WhatsApp groups that said, “Sushant Singh Rajput died”. My eyes widened after reading the post and the first thought that came into my mind was, “That can’t be true! It must be one of those spam posts that usually roam around in WhatsApp groups” I got off the group and googled the news for conformation, only to get shocked. The news read, “Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide” The news was real. He had committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan of his bedroom, in his apartment! Sushant Singh Rajput was a known actor in Bollywood industry. He didn’t have any godfather. He was studying Engineering in Delhi and was passionate about dance. He had joined a dance academy to pursue his passion for dance, where he met with a few f

People and Trust!

Hello all,                                                    I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live on Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley... Trust is a subjective thing. Sometimes we trust someone every easily. Sometimes we take a lot of time to trust someone.   You can trust two different people for two different reasons and share two different incidences with them. For example, you can trust someone to share your professional issues but you might not trust the same person with your personal issues. Similarly, you might trust someone with your personal life. But not with your professional life. Even in personal life, you might share your family issues with someone else and your dating life with someone else. And sometimes, someone trusts someone completely and shares everything with the same person. Is that good or bad? To share all with the same person? I can’t answer this question in good or bad. It is too complicated to answer in just one word.

A 15-year-old elephant, who was 2 months pregnant, strayed into a village near the Silent Valley National Park in Palakkad district a few days ago. She was calm, and not trying to hurt anyone. She must be very happy for being pregnant and valued every life. A local fed her. She gladly took the food. It was a pineapple. The poor soul didn’t know that the pineapple she was taking from a humble human was not just a simple pineapple and the humble human was a devil pretending to be humble. The pineapple was filled with firecrackers, which blew inside her mount leaving her in excruciating pain and a large injury in her lower jaw. She strayed on the roads of the village for days in pain, but she still didn’t hurt anyone. She was pregnant. She had a life inside of her. She valued other lives and didn’t harm any of them. How difficult it must have been for her to know she can’t save the little life inside of her? And yet she valued the hu

Hello all,                                                         I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live on Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley... I started my primary education in Marathi medium, my mother tongue, in a village called Kamptee. After my primary schooling till 5th std. I went on to study in a boarding school named Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, in another village named Navegaon Khairi. Though the schooling from 6th std changed from Marathi medium to lower English, I was still not confident about English as a language of communication, as I was still in a village. So, the only English that I was reading was of the books in our syllabus, and never attempted to speak the language as there was no one to speak it with. I developed interest in reading novels when I was in 8th std, but always read books in Marathi only. By 10th class I started to write poems and creative content as a hobby, but never thought it was good enough to publish. Once I dared

What is Love?

Hello all,                                                                   I Avinash Meshram, welcome you to my blog, Shall We Live On Mars? I hope you like to read my blog. Smiley... I don't know if I am the right person to define Love. What I am writing in this blog is my perspective. I might be wrong. And if you feel like that, please feel free to comment and tell me where I am wrong. I am writing it with the guy's perspective but I guess same goes for girls well... For me, Love is understanding. If you have a good understanding with your girl then everything else would follow. If you understand your partner. Her likes, dislikes, perspective, thinking, passion etc then it becomes easy for you to have a smooth relationship with her. I can't say you would never fight with her. No one is perfect, and fights are part of a relationship. Doesn't matter if you fight like TOM and JERRY if your relationship is like TOM and JERRY! Like they fight all the time but can never b
